Well so much for posting every week about my shop. I did have great intentions but my shop suddenly took over my life. When I began Maxxinspired #1 I had made 12 sales. This was the middle of August. By the middle of September, I was so excited I had made 20 sales. This was when my blankets started to get popular. Today in early November I have 61 sales and have just become one of Etsy’s Star Sellers. This is huge for me and something I have been working very hard to achieve. It means that I have great customer service, deliver my goods on time and have excellent reviews.
Most of my sales since September have been my beautiful artwork velveteen plush blankets with the odd t shirt. I am very happy because I don’t have one bestselling blanket. I have about 35/150 blankets that have sold at least once and of these about 10 have sold multiple times.
Last month was also the first time I actually made a profit after the cost of my Etsy ads. Every month is better than the last and I never get tired hearing the sound of the Cha-Ching. It is also a lesson in patience as there is often days in between. Here are some of my designs that I have either listed or sold over the last few weeks.
